The Homegrown Music Video Vault:
If there is any pre-1990's video of the center crowd I haven't seen it. If you know of some please let me know so I can post or link to it. Until then the clips presented here will have to do. Click on the images to play clip. Enjoy.
Freight Train Boogie - Breezy Pt.
From Breezy Point November 1994, this one is a true treasure from the vault for it features the great Nicky B. on harp and shows why, although he left us way too soon, he will always be the best.
Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard
Robbie D. (who also left us way too soon) is flanked by Steve and Ray for this snappy Paul Simon number. Performed at the Mike O'Connell Family Benefit in Febuary 1996 at the St. Cecilia Gym, which is just down the block from the schoolyard, it features a rare whistling solo. Dig it.
Freight Train Boogie - St. Cecilia
Because you can never get enough "Freight Train" here's another. Again from The Benefit, the usual suspects rip through this rendition with Freddie peeling off the hot licks on the electric. Maybe it should be called "Fred Train Boogie". Very cool.
The Moon Shines Down On You
Also from the Benefit this is an original Buttwhistle/Monty tune written for my nephews Mike and Chris. The "Moon" in the title refers to my late brother Mike who as a teenager had the nickname "Moonie" or "Moon" because of his bright blond hair. Shine on!
More video to come...
As I comb through the archives and digitized more clips this page will be updated accordingly. As mentioned above, if you have, or know of, some video that is related to the theme of this vault please let me know so I can post or link to it. Thank you.
